This Yew was uprooted during severe gales in January 2007. It fell across a woodland path and was cleared up in the same year, the severed trunk has lain there since.
Following a little project to return the base stones of an umbrello seat to there original historical location, which is practically right next to the fallen Yew it made sense to try and carve a bench/seat to complete it.
